Barn conversions are becoming ever more popular in the UK. These agricultural buildings can be found in picturesque rural locations and offer generous open plan living space, double height rooms and bags of charm and character. Often in varying states of dilapidation, converting these old buildings can be challenging. But if done correctly, a barn conversion can make a spectacular contemporary home.
Here are a few of our favourites...

Tigbourne Farm, on the edge of Chiddingfold is an exclusive redevelopment of a 14th century farmhouse and three 16th to 18th century barns. The extensive plot also houses three early 20th century dairy barns.
These ancient buildings feature soaring ceilings, exposed original timbers, inglenook fireplaces, beautifully crafted oak windows and doors, and a mixture of oak and York stone floors. All the properties are Grade II listed and have been expertly restored to accentuate their many original features, all of which have been tastefully complemented with From The Anvil traditional ironmongery. Beeswax and Black Suffolk Latches, T-Hinges, Straight Lever Handles and Shepherds Crook Window Fittings are only a few of the many products used in these desirable properties.
